初期研修をお考えの方へ
島根大学医学部附属病院では、歯科医師としての第一歩を踏み出す皆さんが、将来の専門性や目標に応じて成長できるよう、柔軟性と実践力を重視した臨床研修を行っています。本研修では、地域医療の現場に根ざし、全身疾患と口腔との関わりを理解した上で、安全で質の高い歯科医療を実践できる歯科医師の育成を目指します。
研修では、以下の6項目を基本的行動目標としています。
1. 臨床診断学の修得
2. 臨床上の基本手技の修得
3. 人間としての歯科医師の基本姿勢
4. 歯科医師・患者間のコミュニケーション能力の基礎の修得
5. 歯科医療上必要な患者全身情報評価法の修得
6. 実践的臨床研究への基本的ノウハウの修得
本プログラムでは、地域医療への貢献と全身疾患を有する患者への理解を重視し、一般歯科から専門的口腔外科診療まで幅広く経験できる体制を整えています。また、各研修医の将来像に応じた柔軟な研修計画を立案し、臨床能力のみならず、学術的・社会的視野を持った歯科医師として成長できる環境を提供します。

後期研修をお考えの方へ
島根大学医学部附属病院 卒後臨床研修センターでは、初期研修を終えた歯科医師が、より専門性と臨床・研究両面の力を養うための 後期研修プログラム を整備しています。後期研修プログラムでは３種類のコースを選択できる体制があります。
1. 口腔外科アドバンスコース（２～３年間、認定医取得を目指す）
2. 口腔外科専門医コース（５年以上、専門医／指導医育成）
3. 歯科口腔外科大学院コース（博士課程併用型）
また、いずれのコースでも、麻酔科・集中治療部および耳鼻咽喉科・頭頸部外科での研修機会を用意しており、口腔領域にとどまらない幅広い視点をもつ研修となっています。

Graduate School (Master’s and Doctoral Programs)
The Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Faculty of Medicine, Shimane University, is seeking motivated graduate students who are interested in research in the field of dentistry and oral and maxillofacial surgery. Our department conducts basic, clinical, and translational research based on the management of a wide range of diseases, including maxillofacial trauma, jaw deformities, oral cancer, and oral infections.
Through research and clinical training, we aim to cultivate dentists and oral surgeons who possess both strong clinical expertise and advanced research skills.

The Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Shimane University Hospital is designated as an AO CMF Training Center. Our hospital offers advanced, specialized training in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
